Bunkin’ around the internet caused me to find that there’s a live recording of Swearin’s set at Sheepocalypse in Minneapolis, the fatal July 4th show that inspired my print Melt. It was a heat wave, 103 outside, and we were more made out of sweat and melted popsicle sticks than human flesh. Look at the sheen on Kyle’s arm in that photo.

Listen to it. Listen and image the kind of disgusting humid heat you’d chop your left arm off for right now, if it could replace the seven sweaters you’ve somehow squeezed onto your body. (The housemate who insists on keeping the thermostat set to 55 isn’t ever home anyway.)
